NEW BEGINNERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME
A number of beginners classes are scheduled throughout the year, all ages are welcome from 4 years old & upwards. Beginners are always welcome whenever they wish to start at the club.
Loose clothing such as a T-shirt, Jogging or Track suite bottoms or shorts
Bring a drink of water or juice for once the class has finished.
Although the beginner’s classes are not done at a fast or strenuous pace.
You will be greeted by the club’s secretary or the club instructor and you will be asked to fill out at club enrollment form.
Once this has been done the beginner’s class will be started.
All the moves will be nice and easy step by step broken down and explained so everyone can follow.
Most of the beginner classes are run for Half an hour so not to confuse the beginner at first.
Yes you can train and learn alongside your children in the same class
Yes karate can really help relax and focus the mind.
No you won’t be asked to buy the karate uniform (Gi) after you first class. Normally the instructor will explain the uniform (Gi) cost and sizes after about 4 – 5 weeks once you know you want to carry on with the karate classes.
Normally after the first beginners class has finished the instructor explains the cost of the classes when you move into the main class, He or She will also explain the grading cost (belt exams) and licence fee.
